Sometimes And Your life goes on life goes on after the storm you know that life goes on after the storm you know that life goes on Two could never be closer the chemistry was often insane but when a fire burns fiercely it seems that the flame is short lived meaning it never lasts but the pain can be big when your hearts smashed and i wonder I was wrong when i let you crawl into my life cuz i knew that we were two different try ta unite But the heart gets real funny when it fights with brain its like you trick your own self into believin you straight I opened the gate and told you we would easily be but our vastly different cultures made it easy to see that you would never feel free as long as you was with me i would never agree with your ideologies but my problem was my patience after tellin you ease would be the way that we could grow before demanding my needs and as Muslim yo my duty was to practice my preach so i apologize to God and to you for deceit sometimes it just wasn't meant to be and everybody doesn't have the luxury of getting it right the first time so do you give up or keep or keep trying? i know that the pain is extreme but know that in time itll leave cuz it was decreed and life proceeds love or lust was it just a crush was the pain that we gave each other just because were we too stubborn to see before we married that we were too different to ever be happy or maybe blissful epiphanies just blinded reality created a fantasy that really was fallacy and as time passed we began to perceive that maybe couple that we thought we should be and it was then that we began to really clash on things see after honeymooning, its what reality brings we would push each others buttons nothing times got rough then suddenly you recognize that love isnt enough that's when the hurt comes feel tears streaming the water is the emotion and hurt leaving there's not more helpless feelin in the world then to hurt someone you love specially when its ya girl when you love something set it free that's what they always say but i don't think i understood it till we parted ways one of the hardest decisions i had to make was deciding that we had to break i couldn't be jay i couldn't make the tears stray and so this song don't cry instead it turn the page a new chapter more stability and better days learn from experience that patience is a better way if i could retrace the pain that i gave away then i would do it but i cant so i rhyme today my lyrics penance for mistakes i made ive tried to change my ways ive got a step daughter and she looks up me no time for immaturity i've put down the games i'm closer to God now he's help me gain faith so when i look back at times that seemed bad i'm thankful that i had em they made me a man sometimes it just wasn't meant to be and everybody doesn't have the luxury of getting it right the first time so do you give up or keep or keep trying? i know that the pain is extreme but know that in time itll leave cuz it was decreed and life proceeds

about

Khalil's message is unfeigned, yet not lofty in delivery like many so-called conscientious rappers. Above all Khalil humanizes the "rap experience" by portraying realism, truth, integrity, family dynamics, all the while motivated by his burgeoning faith.
